What happened…they just quit buying boats….& then 15,000 LAYOFFS for the workers in the industry.

Those evil rich people are the one who make our economy work…it’ aint’ the avaerage Joe like me that is buying the Aircraft Carriers, paying for the 100’s of billions to build schools.

when we will get it and stop punishing the very ENGINE that runs our economy.

the average Dem believes the rich don’t pay any taxes….how do we reach them???

I personally think that people that spew hatred about Obama’s plans and proposed polices should not have the right to reap the benefits of his administration.
Why am I not entitled to all the money I work for? Uncle Sam deducts a nice portion every 2 weeks. Unlike Joe the CEO, I don’t have the money to hire the best tax lawers to find enough loopholes in the system to reduce my tax burden. I also don’t have enough clout to employ lobbyists to sway laws in my favor.

Not spoiled: I agree that politics is all about the Golden Rule. I too hope that change is coming to an obviously flawed system.

Because if you look at Berkshire Hathaway – they are heavily invested overseas. Buffet used to be a hero, but I now realize his intentions. He has been knocking the strength of the dollar, saying we are in a depression, etc. All because he knows if Obama is elected, all of the taxation he will impose will no doubt drive more business overseas and increase profits for his stocks. Has anyone else noticed this?

Reminds me of a company in Fl that builds luxury yachts – the Dems demanded high taxes on the luxury yachts, so the mega rich simply went to Italy and other countries to purchase their 5 million dollar yachts… this drove BILLIONS of dollars of revenue out of our economy and practically put the Yacht company and it’s employees out of business. Buffet seems to be supporting this and it’s for the gain and legacy of his stocks.

I noticed a lot of luxury yachts and second homes are on the market, people are ditching these things and not putting the money in teh market…

Watch out America, Obama will screw us all by scaring the rich off…

Rich people hire cleaning ladies, rich people hire mechanics, rich people cause the economy to move, rich people create jobs…Government can’t do all those things on a sustainable basis…
